I am a microbial ecologist who uses evolutionary genomics to understand
how microbes adapt to environmental extremes. Currently, I am using
metagenomics to characterize host microbiome dynamics and identify
microbial biomarkers contributing to disease resistance in Caribbean corals.
I enjoy being in the woods, crocheting, and reading in my free time.
